Vision Support Complex
Our vision is one of our most valued senses, yet we don’t seem to pay a lot of attention to eye health until it may be too late.
Take the steps now to maximize your eye health today, to minimize or even avoid eye health and vision problems as you get older.
Vision Support Complex is a botanical/nutritional supplement designed for the support of healthy vision and eye health, especially as we age.
Vision Support Complex combines multiple vitamins, minerals, botanicals and other proven nutrients to provide a potent supplement to support eye health and vision. ‡
The National Institute of Health (NIH) National Eye Institute performed studies called AREDS and AREDS2 which determined that a formulation which contains vitamin C, vitamin E, beta-carotene, zinc, copper, lutein and zeaxanthin, as well as omega-3 fatty acids, had an impact in delaying the onset of Age-related Mecular Degeneration (AMD) and delaying the progression of AMD in those that have it.
Not only does Vision Support Complex include clinically-tested ingredients as those used in the AREDS and AREDS2 studies, but also over 20 additional nutrients shown to support eye health and vision. ‡

Additional information on key ingredients:
Lutein – A potent antioxidant which protects both the eyes and skin. This carotenoid phytonutrient is found in foods like leafy green vegetables, egg yolks, citrus fruits and orange vegetables. Lutein is present in high concentration in the eyes, especially the macula and the lens. Studies have shown that supplementation with lutein can reduce the risk of macular degeneration.
Zeaxanthin – Another carotenoid like lutein, zeaxanthin is found in high quantities in the eye – especially the retina and macula. Zeaxanthin protects sensitive eye tissues which support clear vision and provides support against issues such as cataracts.
Vitamin A – Vitamin A (especially as beta-carotene) protects the surface of the eye, and is essential for good vision. Vitamin A, especially in combination with other antioxidant vitamins, also appears to play a role in decreasing the risk of vision loss from macular degeneration (AMD).
Vitamin C – A potent antioxidant, vitamin C helps to form collagen that is found in the cornea and supports capillaries found in the retina, and may reduce the risk of cataracts and macular degeneration.
Vitamin E – Research suggests vitamin E may help reduce the worsening of age-related macular degeneration (AMD) among people who show early signs of the eye disease.
Zinc – helps your body absorb vitamin A and plays an important role in supporting antioxidant enzymes.
Taurine – a sulfur-containing amino acid, taurine supports vision through protection against free radicals and by participating in chemical processes that support normal vision and protect against retinal degredation.
Quercetin – a flavonoid, quercetin supports eye health through protection against free radicals, oxidation and collagen breakdown.
N-Acetyl Cysteine – a form of the amino acid cysteine, NAC provides a potent free radical scavenger, limits damage due to oxidation and supports the immune system.‡
